语法正确么？“are trying to”用的对么？

这句话中的"where"是多余的么？我想用它来表示位置，不对么？

roller最好用复数rollers
where后面要加上are（改成复数以后），后者干脆不要

改成They are trying to use the Chinese materials to produce the roller what the production line use
now.
